Why Yoga? Well, if you have been asking yourself this questions, I am here to help give you some answers. There are many different types of yoga/ yoga practices and they all have so many great benefits, from calming the brain and the body down into a state of rest, to igniting the fire inside and creating heat. I personally have experienced many of these benefits in my own practice. I have had a huge reduction of anxiety, It’s practically non existent compared to what it was 6 years ago. I actually started yoga and meditation due to anxiety and I loved yoga so much I became a teacher. I encourage you to give yoga a try, if you don’t feel comfortable going into a class try YouTube. There are many beginner friendly class on YouTube. Look up the different kinds of yoga and see what looks most interesting to you. If you are looking for more restful yoga, try Yin or restorative, if you are looking for something a little more fast paced try Vinyasa. I hope you find a yoga practice you enjoy and start to implement it into your life so you too can experience the many benefits.
