These are the healthiest blondies with the naughtiest taste. You would never guess they are made with chickpeas! These beauties are made with maca powder. I love sneaking maca into my recipes. Maca has so many benefits! It helps support your hormone health and gives that libido a boost 😉
This is the easiest recipe to make, you just need a food processor and ⬇️ 1 Can of Chickpeas – drained, towel-dried ⅓ cup Peanut Butter (Unsalted) – or sunflower seed butter if nut-free ½ cup agave syrup ½ tablespoon Vanilla Extract ½ teaspoon Baking Powder ½ teaspoon Baking Soda ½ teaspoon Sea Salt ½ teaspoon maca powder ⅓ cup Almond Flour or oat flour ⅓ cup Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips
Preheat the oven to 350
Grease a 8×8 glass baking dish
Drain and rinse the chickpeas and place them on a bakers cloth. I folded the cloth over and patted them dry (This is a crucial step ) otherwise the batter will be too wet.
Get out your food processor and start by adding the drained and towel dried chickpeas. Then add the peanut butter, agave syrup, vanilla, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Blend until smooth. Next add the maca powder and almond flour. Blend again until smooth. Take out the blade in the food processor and add in the chocolate chips and mix with a rubber spatula. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350 or until the top is golden.
